Twice a week the are live hangouts on YouTube, with an official Steinberg rep, that last for 3-4 hours each time, and anybody can ask anything. Probably nobody will probably ever use everything in one project, but vieweing and committing it somewhere into memory is different for me when I actually fire up Cubase and train to use the function over time. Which was really simple things in the beginning, like nudging MIDI notes in the Key Editor by using the proper function or hotkey (dragging with the mouse is so much slower, and try nudge many "random" notes mouse-only where the Logical Editor is no option). I know that for myself about those functions studied but forgotten soon, eventually won't use them when needed because of how our brain works. Still, the most important thing is to USE and play with those functions regularly you just read or learned about. But Selim, Ondo and Sigalas are really good choices named here. Very little redundant knowledge presented in every video, as some things require to understand another concept in advance, of course.ĭon't know for other languages.

Ive been a cubase user for 2 years now and originally i started in fl studio.Įvery time i try to find a tutorial on youtube for complicated stuff i almost never find a guy who explains it in cubase, and if he does its mostly old low quality bedroom producer- on the other hand theres probably like 20 logic and ableton professional tutorials on every lousy cubase 1.Įverywhere i went wether it was school, music school music stores production stores everyone knows cubase as a household name and an industry standart- so why is it so vague compared to other daws? Is cubase just simply less popular or what i really cant figure it out.
